NuLabour have plans to compell teenagers to carry out community service:-

"We are working towards ensuring that, in time, every young person gives at least 50 hours of service to their community in their teenage years."

Hitler introduced his Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD):-

The RAD was formed in July 1934 as the official state labour service.........RAD members were to provide service for various civic, military and agricultural construction projects.

Far from being a benign government working for US - the people of the UK, our current government seems much more concerned with indoctrination and control, focussing, naturally, on the young as they are much easier to deal with and will accept greater gov't control if they have grown up not knowing freedom and self determination.
